About Us

The Heaton, Lostock & Chew Moor Labour Party is a members’ branch of Bolton West Constituency Labour Party along with:

• Horwich North
• Horwich South & Blackrod
• Hulton
• Smithills
• Westhoughton North & Hunger Hill
• Westhoughton South

– mirroring the local government ward boundaries in the west of Bolton Metropolitan Borough

Our ward is made up of Chew Moor, Heaton, Ladybridge, Lostock and part of Wigan Road with the boundaries being Devonshire Road/Tudor Avenue in the east, Ox Hey Lane and Fall Birch Road to the west, Old Kiln Lane in the north and the M61 in the south.  There are over 11,000 registered voters in the ward with approximately 40% voting in the 2023 local elections.  The ward is represented by three Conservative Councillors.
